Notice to data subjects (GDPR Art. 14)
Last updated: June 2026
If your professional contact details appear in the Plug2Data B2B database, this notice explains — in line with Articles 13–14 of the GDPR — what we hold, why, and the rights you have. To remove yourself or exercise any right, use our self-service portal at /opt-out or email privacy@plug2data.com.
1. Who is responsible
Plug2Data (legal entity Plug2 FZE LLC, Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates) is the data controller for this database. Privacy contact: privacy@plug2data.com.
As we are established outside the EEA/UK, we have appointed Prighter as our representative under Article 27 GDPR / UK GDPR. EU representative: Prighter (Prighter Group), Vienna, Austria. UK representative: Prighter, London, United Kingdom. EEA/UK residents can contact the representative via https://app.prighter.com/portal/14393343129 or reach us at privacy@plug2data.com.
2. What data and where it comes from
Categories: full name, job title/seniority, professional email, business phone, professional social profile (e.g. LinkedIn), and your employer's publicly observable business attributes (platform, estimated revenue/traffic, technologies, shipping signals, country).
Sources: publicly available sources (company websites, public professional profiles) and licensed third-party data providers. We do not collect special-category data or data about children.
We record the source of each enriched contact so we can tell you where a given record came from on request.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Purpose: to provide a business-to-business intelligence and contact database that our customers use for legitimate B2B sales, marketing, recruitment and partnership outreach.
Legal basis: our and our customers' legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in B2B prospecting, balanced against your rights — we limit data to a professional context, hold no special-category data, and give you an easy, free way to object or be removed.
Because we collect from third parties at scale, providing individual notice to every person would involve disproportionate effort (Art. 14(5)(b)); this public notice, together with our self-service portal, fulfils our transparency obligation.
4. Who we share it with
Our customers (under terms that require lawful B2B use and respect of opt-outs), and the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell the data of website visitors.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability and to complain to a supervisory authority.
The fastest route is our portal at /opt-out: a removal or objection request is applied immediately and added to a permanent suppression list, so your details are no longer displayed, enriched, exported or shared.
You can also email privacy@plug2data.com. We respond within the statutory deadline (e.g. 30 days under GDPR), free of charge.
